Famille Perrin Nature Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2010

This good example of Cote du Rhone has Perrin Family to thank for and organic status (good example of really good wine with organic label and commitment). You can feel delicate yet strong tannins coupled together with gamey and intensely flavoured notes of juniper and cherry. The alcohol of 14% is not super strong and you can feel all the fruitiness and roundness this wine has to offer!

A good chargrilled steak, a good roast duck or venison - everything strong and meaty would be great with this round and intensely flavoured wine. Why not trying it with a selection of cured meats and a good grilled duck breast (think juniper berries and red wine sauce to compliment the wine and feel the contrast between food and wine!)
